The Brow Chakra sits between the eyebrows and is known as the Third Eye. This center is our innate
intelligence and thrives on the distilled wisdom of our losses, pain, and separations. When it is open and
functioning well, we can discern our highest good as well as profound awareness and intuition.
The center seeks meaning, truth, and freedom.
The Brow Chakra controls the flow of hormones from the pituitary gland and responds to wholesome attitudes
about self and others. As we mature we cultivate knowing and intuition and use these to understand situations we might not have been able to cope with when we were younger. Wisdom, discernment, knowledge, and intuition are all qualities of this chakra. It is closely linked with the higher mind and enlightenment.
The Brow Chakra operates holistically. It views life from a more inclusive perspective and points the way to more wholesome choices.
The Brow Chakra matures with age and experience. It develops right thinking about who we are and helps us through the difficulties that challenge us. The ability to disengage from attacks, unwholesome situations, or people nurtures our inner clarity and strength. The ability to recognize the nature of people and situations frees us to use our life force appropriately.
Healthy attitudes based on love and respect of self and others help us cultivate discernment. This teaches us to make optimal choices based on our highest good and greatest joy. Attitudes rich in flexibility, openness, and a deep love for one's self and others help us manage our lives with grace and wisdom.
The Brow Chakra regulates our emotional responses. When a situation evokes our feelings, it is through he Brow Chakra that we decide how to respond. If we allow ourselves to feel, emotions can be experienced and disappear. If we suppress our emotions, they revert to the subconscious and block our energy.
The Brow Chakra is where our mentality is formulated. It is the control center for the mind. Our intelligence can be used to create harmony or conflict. When we are at one with ourselves, we find we have few thoughts and our mind is still. When we are conflicted, we struggle with our mind, finding the best way to resolve our problems.
All negative ideas stem from the one belief that we are not enough. We are not lovable or worthy of having the life we say we want. When we identify with a lack of worth, we fail to honor our true light. Being forever cynical, anxious, and negative makes us ugly and old. Being inflated, separated from our true self, leads to egotism and narcissism. These attitudes develop when we feel we are not "enough" and need to be "more" in the eyes of others. Self-importance limits our truth as well as our vitality.
The quintessential belief that we are worthy of receiving our good makes the mind healthy and whole. Accepting the best of ourselves helps us form clearly defined boundaries so that an attack cannot diminish us. Acknowledging our worth lets us know who and what are for our highest good. Loving ourselves lets us cultivate a sense of humor and makes our path through life more joyful. It also opens up our energy field.

YOUR BROW CHAKRA IS AFFECTED
BY THOUGHTS OR EMOTIONS ABOUT
Your desire and ability to see spirits, Angels or apparitions
Your desire or fear of seeing what is in store for you.
Many healers or those drawn towards healing have followed with path in previous lifetimes. In the past, healers were misunderstood and experienced persecution, punishments and alienation for their ability. In the past, many psychics were killed for their gift. This can still create subconscious fear in this lifetime which can prevent full psychic development.
As a child, if we hear that psychic or clairvoyant ability is 'evil', the Third eye can be closed down.
